Sometimes the best thing you can do creatively is stop trying to make something ‘perfect or finished’ and just play with freedom.

10 july I joined the Brush Brush workshop by @spechtstudio which was all about experimenting with expressive brushes in Adobe Illustrator. The brief was simple: read the notes, explore, make marks and see where they take you.

No pressure. No expectations. Just curiosity.

It’s refreshing to step outside your comfort zone or usual process and discover new experimental techniques.
